About German in Zurich
A native German speaker, I have been teaching German for over 20 years. Having lived and gained my university degree in the UK, my English is also at native speaker level. For six years I was a Director of Studies at blc business language centre GmbH, Zurich where I was responsible for ensuring a consistently high standard and quality of teaching. Now self-employed as an education consultant and teacher, I am continuing my passion for language learning and education. Although language learning requires commitment and work, I believe it should also be an enjoyable and inspiring experience.After assessing your individual learning needs and goals I will tailor a language program specifically for you and your children's needs. This individual learning approach will maximize your learning progress. If you have just arrived in Zurich we will concentrate on the language content needed for daily life. For exam preparation you will complete exercise based work in your own time, allowing us to really use the lesson time to prepare for the certificate.
Lessons can take place at your home, place of work or in my office in Zürich - Wollishofen (tram no. 7) and will typically last 60 or 90 minutes.
